September Weekly Food Distributions and Volunteer Opportunities Cancelled!

Thank you to everyone who signed up to serve at our Santa Ana warehouse during September to distribute food boxes to our neighbors and nonprofit partners. Unfortunately, we have to cancel this weekly event due to a lack of food boxes. We are very hopeful that this is only a temporary setback.

Join Us at the OC Food Bank on October 16th!

 
We will be packing food boxes for our senior neighbors in need at the OC Food Bank.

Can you serve at the OC Food bank during the week?

The OC Food Bank in Garden Grove needs FOCUS volunteers to help with their DONATED FOOD PROGRAM from Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 10:30 am). Volunteers will be sorting and packing a variety of produce that will be provided to over 300 nonprofit partner agencies (like FOCUS Southern California) who will then distribute the food to community members in need of food. Closed-toed shoes are a must. Visit the link below to learn more about the Donated Food Program and other programs in need of volunteers, include the Giving Farm and Senior Food Box Packing.

Each month our dedicated FOCUS volunteer Sofia and her family rents a UHAUL and distributes food boxes, diapers, toys and household items (that FOCUS received from the OC Food Bank & Diaper Bank, Big Lots & Giving Children Hope) into our most disadvantaged communities.
The feedback has been amazing. We appreciate you Sofia!
